Artist's CommentsNOTE: First off, I don't want to be disapproved of it or have a dispute about the content in this image. This image portrays my fictional characters who were involved in Operation Valkyrie. I don't support the Nazis; I support the Americans. If you respect my view, I will respect yours. If I receive ANY flak about this deviation, I will disable comments or remove it from my gallery. Finally I finished something! I spent the passed 2 days busting my tooshie to polish this off. D: I spent a good 16+hrs on this thing... Most of it was trying to get the colors right and searching for textures and ref. Anyways enjoy! Texture: cgtextures.com BG Texture: Aegean-Prince Watercolor Overlay: resurgere Banner: Vector Ribbon Skin Ref: J.C. Leyendecker ---------------------- These characters are inspired from the 2008 movie Valkyrie. I'm not going to explain everything that goes on, but I do want to say those who were involved in Valkyrie were honorable soliders who sought the best for their country. (Click link to read for more info.) [link] *Now for my characters! ^^* The first one is Hagan, which means "high son" in German. He is the first born and brother to the man next to him (Ahren). Hagan quickly worked his way up to be an army General. He cares for his men, but he is still a crude officer. His family is proud of his accomplishments and for his loyalty to the fuhrer (Hitler). Once he became aware of Ahren's involvement in the plan to assassinate Hitler he gave Ahren a warning. Hagan refused to listen to his reasoning, so Ahren chloroformed him and brought him to an Allied battle field and a concentration camp to see the pain and destruction Hitler was creating. Shocked by what he saw Hagan reluctantly decided to also become a part of Valkyrie. Next to Hagan is Ahren, which means "eagle" in German. This is the same guy in this deviation, Late Night Promise. Ahren is 7 years younger than his elder brother. He spent 4 years in the U.S. and returned to Germany in 1937. After seeing the destructive madness of his country he joined the resistance movement against Hitler (a treasonous act, punishable by death). Ahren is an army Major (infantry division) decelerated with the iron cross (an award for bravery). He got the scar over his right eyebrow during a battle on the Russian front. Ahren escaped capture and went into hiding after Valkyrie failed. Some time later he continued his involvement in the assassination of Hitler until Hitler took care of it himself. Ahren was also involved in approximately other 5 assassination attempts prior to Valkyrie. The girl next to Ahren is his wife, Ida, which means "hard working" in German. She is loyal to her husband and is concerned about his well-being. Ida is legally an American and German citizen due to being birthed in the U.S. She met Ahren in Germany, married in 1939, and had 2 children with him (names TBD). Ida sparingly partakes in Ahren's work by delivering secret messages to his contacts. If she feels it would put their family in danger she'll refuse to take any messages. Like her name suggests, she works hard keeping a clean house. Thanks for reading! I had to get that info floating around in my head out. |

We're only taking turns, holding this world.
its how it's always been, ..
when you're older, you will understand.
I wish I could do stuff like this in a shorter amount of time.
Wow! Thanks for reading! Most people skip that stuff. XD When I was drawing him I noticed I gave him the same cheeks as Johnny Depp, maybe that's why he's so handsome. lol
And your stories for your characters are awesome! I thought you took that story from the movie or something to add to your characters cause they were so good. XD
Thank you! ^^ Heh, heh I try but usually I never know how unique of good it is. XD
I think it's pretty original! Not many people have Nazis become good in their stories. =]

The people who look at you strangely when you suddenly burst into song and dance, are just jealous that they were not cast in a starring role.
